Asset Management Assessments
LAM conducts comprehensive reviews to assess the performance of assets, systems, processes and technology against industry benchmarks. These reviews determine effective ways forward and inform the creation of compelling business cases for development, improvement or optimisation.
Maintenance Strategies Optimisation
Having appropriate preventative and corrective maintenance strategies can avoid costly and unexpected operational losses and are best practice in all maintenance organisations. LAM can assess and optimise existing preventative and corrective maintenance strategies, with a focus in either asset reliability, plant availability, maintenance cost, safety or material risk. LAM has extensive knowledge of material (or catastrophic) risks and can identify and rectify material risk related gaps in maintenance strategies, minimising risk to the operations.
Maintenance and production teams often ‘solve’ operational and maintenance problems only to find the problem reappears. LAM can perform Root Cause Analysis with the client’s teams to identify and implement solutions that eliminate future re-occurrence.
Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis
Operational Readiness
Operational Readiness is often overlooked in businesses and consultancy projects, and chasing vendors for documents and knowledge is detrimental to effective outcomes.  LAM works with our clients to ensure all relevant documents (e.g., drawings, manuals, spares list, commissioning parameters, knowledge transfers) are put in the clients’ hands to effectively operate and maintain new or upgraded assets and ensure seamless transition from project to operations.  LAM also has extensive knowledge of SAP related processes and systems for efficient master data management and robust knowledge of fixed plant and non-process infrastructure. This allows LAM team members to work with the client to develop or adjust the required master data (Functional Locations, preventive and corrective strategies, work instructions, bill of materials), catalogue spare parts and perform asset and spare criticality assessments to minimise operational risks.
Project Management
LAM has a proven track record of maximising quality and delivering projects on time and within budget and sees this as a critical aspect of its approach to holistic client service. Our team members’ deep expertise in reliability, mechanical, electrical and engineering projects ensures consistent, quality outcomes on all projects that may be re-engineered and replicated as necessary.
Asset Management Coaching & Training
LAM team members coach and train clients on the solutions we implement, so your team has the confidence and knowledge to resolve any similar problem in future. Â Our team is happy to provide asset management coaching and training at all levels in your organisation, including production and maintenance managers, superintendents, engineers, supervisors, coordinators, maintainers, and operators.
